Foresight, then, is not a luxury—it is an antidote to bureaucratic stagnation. In this context, wild imagination is not escapism—it is strategy. It is the capacity to stretch the boundaries of the possible so that governance does not become governance of the dead: emotionally dead, spiritually disengaged, ecologically disconnected.
